The Patriotic Pups of Pacific Palisades are ready for their 29th annual march in the July 4th parade. Each pup will receive a bandana, water, collapsible water bowl and poop bags from our sponsor, Paws 'N' Claws who will be coordinating and leading the Patriotic Pups unit.
Pups will need to be leashed at all times in the Parade, including in the assembly area, and should be well behaved and comfortable in crowds and in the company of other pups, cars, horses and people.
All Patriotic Pups are asked to meet between 1:00 and 1:45 at Palisades Elementary School on the corner of Via de la Paws and BowWowdoin. We urge you to bring water for you and your pup. Some pups like to wear socks if the pavement is hot. You/your pup may leave the parade at any time along the route.
You will be asked to sign a participant form before marching. If you want to print, sign and bring it with you, click here.
To ensure everyone's safety – both on and off the parade route, we ask that the Patriotic Pups' pet guardians supervise them at all times and clean up after them, as needed.
We look forward to seeing you and your pup on the 4th. Pet guardians are encouraged to take pictures of their pups in the parade and tag #palisades4thpatrioticpups and #PalisadesJuly4.
